Ali Adel Ahmad Wazaney

Dr. Ali, a member of the Board of Directors at GIG Sigorta, is a visionary insurance leader with over three decades of experience across both conventional and Takaful markets. Known for driving innovation, mergers, and strategic growth, he has transformed startups into industry leaders and steered major acquisitions that reshaped Jordan’s insurance landscape. Since becoming CEO of GIG-Jordan in 2018, Dr. Ali has led the company to significant financial success and market prominence. His prior roles include CEO of Solidarity and Deputy GM at Arab Orient Insurance, where he played key roles in organizational transformation. In addition to his executive leadership, he has held prominent industry roles, including Chairman of the Jordan Insurance Federation and board member of regional insurance bodies. Dr. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Marketing, an MBA, degrees in Accounting and Law, and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). He is also a passionate advocate for education and talent development.
